By scheduling and paying for a consultation, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
THIS CONSULTATION AGREEMENT is made between the Law Offices of Albert Goodwin, PLLC (the “firm,” “we,” or “us”) and you (the “client” or “you”), and sets out the terms under which the firm will provide a paid legal consultation in the State of Florida.
1. Flat Consultation Fee – The consultation is provided for a flat fee of $400.00. This is a flat fee for a single consultation. The fee is fully earned by the firm when the consultation is provided. If the firm does not provide the consultation, the fee will be refunded to you in full.
2. Scope of the Consultation – The consultation consists solely of verbal communication between you and the attorney for up to one hour. It does not include drafting documents, written advice, court appearances, or communications with third parties. At the attorney’s sole discretion, the consultation may include limited document review or legal research within the consultation hour. No services beyond those described above are included or implied.
3. No Ongoing Attorney-Client Relationship – This consultation does not, by itself, create an ongoing attorney-client relationship beyond the consultation. The firm will represent you in a legal matter only if you and the firm sign a separate written retainer agreement.
4. Confidentiality – Information you share during the consultation is protected as confidential to the extent required by the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.
5. No Guarantee of Outcome – The firm does not guarantee any particular result, and no representation is made regarding the outcome of any legal matter discussed. You are not required to agree with the attorney’s opinions or advice.
6. Responsible Attorney and Office – The attorney responsible for this matter is Albert Goodwin, Esq., The Florida Bar No. 97316. Office location: 121 Alhambra Plz # 1000, Coral Gables, FL 33134.
7. Fee Disputes – In the event of a dispute concerning fees, the parties may submit the dispute to the Fee Arbitration Program of The Florida Bar.
